Today (12-5-2026), Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay addressed and felicitated Thiru J.C.D. Prabhakar and Thiru M. Ravishankar, who took charge as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

Today (12-5-2026), Hon'ble Thiru K.A. Sengottaiyan, Leader of the House and Hon'ble Thiru Udayanidhi Stalin, Leader of the Opposition conducted Thiru J.C.D. Prabhakar, who was elected as Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, to the Chair, in the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru C. Joseph Vijay.
